About Us

A Decade in the Making

Some ideas demand time. Logos Studios has lived in my mind and heart for nearly ten years. In that time I've constantly searched for philosophy, role models and life experiences to inform my work. Eventually life came knocking, and it became time to take action.

In my early twenties, I faced what felt like every obstacle life could offer: health crises, relationship struggles, job instability, housing uncertainty, even mass societal lockdowns. Each one tested me. Each one also shaped me: refining my eye for design and clarifying what I truly wanted to create. Life has culminated to the point I feel waiting is no longer an option. The fight for survival hasn't changed but my motivations have deepend as fatherhood quickly approaches.

This has pushed me to using perhaps one of the most "generic" distributers imaginable. It completely goes against what I hope to stand for. Independence, quality, real relationships with every layer of the company. I want to go out of my way to source the purest quality, life sustaining fibres imaginable made by local people who enjoy their lives. By going with a big box distributor I'm going against my entire belief structure.

That being said, perfection never comes, so as I wait and wait for the day I have enough resources to fly to Japan to find a denim factory willing to take me on, life passes me by. I unknowingly settle for less waiting for something that never comes. I would rather imperfectly fight for what I believe in now than do nothing at all. Some of the greatest art has emerged from constricted parameters.

That's why I view this era of the brand as my Andy Warhol Campbell's soup era. I'm taking my limitations and what would otherwise be seen as mundane and overlooked, and turning it into something that can act as a symbol and start a conversation. I hope that my first collections can be thought provoking in their own way before fully fleshing out the ideas of personal sovereignty and following ones own destiny in the years to come.

The Meaning Behind the Name

Logos is an ancient concept — one that points to something far greater than a brand name. It speaks to the intelligence behind creation itself: not a single hand that builds, but a unifying principle that furnishes the plan and sets all things into motion.

As one source puts it: “Logos is a compound unity of manifested living spirits, the parent-source and nursery of all the mundane and terrestrial monads, plus their divine reflection, which emanate from and return into the Logos, each in the culmination of its time.” (Secret Doctrine I p. 573)

To me, Logos represents the idea that great things are not made by any one person alone — they emerge from intention, from collective effort. When one creates one temporarily limits themselves by being seen, ultimately as their body of work grows they return back to being limitless as no one person can perceive every facet of oneself. The ideas do not come from us, thus they are not our own, we merely bring them into existence like parents do children.

Why Now

With the arrival of my daughter on the horizon, something shifted. The status quo isn't satisfying anymore, it's insulting. I want to be able to provide a comfortable life for my family, not be that the mercy of strangers who couldn't care less about my life. The obstacles that once felt like walls began to look like the very material from which something real could be built. Logos Studios is a commitment to pierce through difficulty and create something that may one day change not just my family's life, but the lives of everyone who chooses to participate: future customers, collaborators, and employees alike.

What We Stand For

We believe good design imbues meaning into everything. We believe that beauty and intention are not luxuries, they are necessities. A business, at its best, is not just a transaction but a living thing; a logos of its own.

Welcome to Logos Studios.
